I started my relationship with CrossFit by making fun of it.
I was a runner and a climber even smaller than I am now, I had never touched a barbell. I became curious about what a friend of mine was doing, taking nutrition seriously and exercising aggressively. Naturally we poked fun at the friend, as is tradition. Just like Mark Walberg In the critically acclaimed movie, “The Other Guys” I sought to learn more about this new type of activity in order to make fun of it in a more refined way. I started teaching myself movements, but It wasn’t until I attended an on-ramp that I understood the full value of CrossFit.
Fast forward to me watching and re-watching all of the games documentaries. I had to be more involved, I decided to get my level one at The Ranch in Aromas, CA; the home of first CrossFit games. CrossFit was permanently part of my life after that.

I have been an athlete my whole life. I was a state placer for the Washington State Wrestling tournament, competitive power lifter, and competed in physique bodybuilding. My love for fitness easily drove me to my career in personal training. My passion is helping other people reach their fitness goals and change lives.
Being the “bro” that I am, I avoided the box at all costs. However I started dabbling in some Olympic lifting and it inevitably followed. It wasn’t until I started CrossFit that I fell in love with the sport. The competitive, tight knit, family nature of the box showed me what it was all about. The people and friends I have met here are truly amazing. I am excited to share my knowledge and continue to learn with this amazing community.

I have been a lifelong gym rat and been doing functional fitness for 10 years now.
One of my favorite movements are preacher curls, but I can’t stand man-makers.
One of my biggest goals and dreams would be to do a 1-arm pull-up.

I got into training because I was tired of saying “I can’t”. Spending the first 20 years of my life as “the fat kid”, I said those words a lot. “I can’t play that, I’m not fast enough”. “I can’t ride that, I’m too heavy”, “I can’t climb that, I’m not strong enough”. I lived life feeling trapped in my own body. Eventually, I got tired of looking at my body with disdain. I started looking for a way to live with my body, rather than against it. A few approaches later, I found CrossFit.
CrossFit has been my one-stop-shop for the better part of 7 years now. It’s enabled me to walk through the world and say “I can do that”. It’s allowed me to live my life in ways that my younger self only dreamed of.
I got into coaching to help others approach life confidently saying “I can do that”. I’m a firm believer that there’s no such thing as being “not fit enough for Crossfit”. This training style is for everyone and I love what I do because I get to prove that every time I step in front of a class.
I’m not gonna spend a lot of time writing this...

I spend most of my mornings at Felix. From 6am until my parents take me home. I’m usually the first one through the door ready to great all of you and bring you my toys to play with. If you rub my belly before class, I guarantee you a wonderful workout. I’m an independent woman whose fashion rolls with the season, and you can usually find my tail changing colors throughout the year. Green, blue, orange and red are some of my favorite to sport on a beautiful day. I found this bow tie at Nordstom and thought it matched my tail beautifully that year.
You can probably find walking around the gym or chillin under a bench watching everyone workout. My favorite movements are dancing for treats and running to greet you, and my ultimate goal is to one day become strong enough to open the door for myself to use the bathroom.Look forward to seeing you in class…
I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 10 years now, and I’m for sure no Rich Froning, but I love it nonetheless. You can find me in the class with everyone else learning how to move weight and getting my butt kicked! On a side note to all of this, “I LOVE SOUR PATCH KIDS AND I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH ICE CREAM.”
My favorite movements are toes-to-bar and you can never go wrong with a little bench and some bicep curls.
I hate anything that gets my heart rate up and I loathe burpees.
I’m living out my goals and dreams right now. #GOBLUE
